Hearing Aid Older Superceded Technology
Here you will find a list of older technology that has been replaced by
newer more advanced versions. Some hearing aid suppliers (particularly
the national companies) will try to tell you they are supplying you with
the latest technology at very low prices, when in fact they are selling
'old stock'.
There's nothing wrong with purchasing 'end of line' products if you know
that is the case, however we take the view that you should at least be
aware of this fact.
We are quite often asked by clients to replace lost or damaged hearing
aids and in that particular scenario it is quite appropriate to replace
like with like, however our view is that if you are new to hearing aids
or looking to upgrade existing technology the best you can do is to pick
the latest technology available within your budget and lifestyle
considerations.
