Oticon Intiga new hearing aid family launched

September 2nd, 2011 by Paul Minikin

Oticon have launched a brand new range of RITE hearing aids called the Oticon Intiga.

The Oticon Intiga is a replacement for the ageing Dual range of Oticon hearing aids, although a couple of entry level Dual hearing aids have been kept on the books and had their prices reduced (The Oticon Dual M7 and M5).

The Oticon Intiga is available in three distinct models, the Oticon Intiga 10, Intiga 8 and Intiga 6, Intiga 10 being the premium model and closest in technology to the Oticon Agil Pro range of hearing aids.

The Oticon Intiga is a very sleek and discreet looking hearing aid and comes in a range of ten colours to suit. The Oticon Intiga is compatible with the Connectline range of wireless accessories and has no buttons, controls etc with a size 10 battery. Oticon say the Intiga is the world’s smallest fully wireless hearing solution.

Oticon claim the new style of speaker wire is a much better fit for the ear to aid retention in the ear and the fitting range is claimed to be up to 80 dBHL loss.
